Hello, and thanks for reading the inaugural post for Bachelor Party. I have been planning on starting a blog about The Bachelor and so I am cutting my teeth on The Bachelorette.
Now, I have a confession to make-I have never seen an episode of The Bachelorette before tonight. The reason I have loved The Bachelor is mainly for one reason-the women. Yes, those crazy ass bitches keep me tuned in week after week with their desperate and hysteric antics. So it is a learning experience for me as I watch The Bachelorette, I will admit, but by the time the next Bachelor rolls around, I hope to be a well oiled snark machine.
What makes this blog different from other fan blogs of The Bachelor/ette is that I like to talk a lot of shit. Let's be honest, that's why most of us enjoy reality TV. My shit talk not only deals with the people on the show, but the genre of reality and the go-to formulas of reality TV. Living in LA and interacting with people in the business of "reality" gives me a somewhat different perspective when watching this show.
So if you think this is going to be a blog from the perspective of someone who genuinely views The Bachelor as a realistic and viable method of meeting your soulmate, you're in for a treat, I hope. If not, good luck next season with Ashley H's rejected suitor.
